Simon is a Software Engineer building solutions for the Sigma7 technology ecosystem.
Simon joined Intelligence Fusion in February 2023 as a Junior Software Engineer focusing on front-end development, becoming Software Engineer I in April 2024. This is his first role in tech after a recent career change.
Previously, Simon obtained a PhD in Synthetic Chemistry at Imperial College London, before spending several years travelling the world with his partner while working as a remote Freelance Copy Editor for several academic publishers.
After returning to live in the UK full-time, Simon chose to seek out more exciting and creative work. With a passion for tech and problem solving, this led to a career switch to software development, where he now uses his unique experience and editor’s eye-for-detail to enhance our user experience.
