Alex has been a Regional Analyst at Intelligence Fusion since February 2023.
Alex completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics at the University of Stirling in Scotland, followed by a master’s degree in International Security at the University of St Andrews. During his studies, he had a primary focus on Chinese affairs—particularly related to foreign and security issues—along with a side interest in Russia. He continues to use the knowledge and experience gained from this time in his role at Intelligence Fusion.
While a master’s student at St Andrews, Alex worked as an archivist at the Handa Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence, where he specialised in historical research into terrorism in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and Palestine. Besides his educational background, Alex has also pursued research into potential IP theft at British univerisities for a think tank specialising in foreign and security policy. Alex continues to combine his geopolitical knowledge with his appreciation of world history in his role as an analyst.
