Intelligence Fusion Hires New CTO
Bringing over two decades of experience in the technology sector, Intelligence Fusion hires former CEO and Company Director, Les Gaw, as our Chief Technology Officer.
Les joins the team to lead the development of our threat intelligence software and manage the business’ product roadmap.
Splitting his week between our Durham-based business and his home in Glasgow, we’ll benefit from his extensive experience in evolving tech start-ups as well as strong skills in leadership, strategy and commercial management.
A company with big ambitions, Intelligence Fusion is thrilled to have a CTO on board who fully understands our ethos and has the experience and knowledge to front our product innovation.
We asked Les a few questions about why he took on the challenge and what he got up to before joining the team…
What first attracted you to Intelligence Fusion?
I was really interested in the novel business model of the company and the passion of the team building the business.
This is a truly interesting business which has massive opportunity to change the way intelligence is sourced and disseminated, improving risk assessment on a global basis.
What were you doing before this role?
I was working as a consultant or advisor to a range of early stage technology-based companies, supporting them in the development of their strategy, raising funds and building software products.
Prior to that, I was CEO at a tech-based business that designed and developed real-time video products used by government, military and law enforcement customers. This was sold to a FTSE Listed business called Digital Barriers where I ended up working for 3 years running one of their divisions.
In your opinion, what set Intelligence Fusion apart from other providers?
The passion and drive across the team sets it apart and when combined with the business model, it provides a true differentiator to deliver real-time intelligence to our customers.
